Welcome Dear Readers,
World Sanctuary is a book that was over 30 years in the making. It is my journey towards the manifestation of a vision that was revealed to me all those years ago. That old saying: If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you, it’s yours. If it doesn’t it was never meant to be. What if you set it free but it never leaves? For over three decades this vision has remained in my heart and soul, been a source of inspiration and sometimes frustration. I have sat in this space in meditations and shared it with others in guided journeys.
However, I have never set foot on this land. Never seen the physical form. Yet I know each and every corner of it, how it feels, how it sounds and how the breeze blows across the fields. I know its voice when it speaks to me and reminds me to keep going telling me: we will meet some day.
Three months shy of my sixtieth trip around the sun I could not ignore that inner voice any longer. I left my job and started this manifestation of meeting my vision. And that is what World Sanctuary has been written for. To truly manifest that which I was given so many years ago and to share it with the world. For life does not happen alone, it happens when we share that invisible inner voice with the world.
“A writer tells the world something it needs to hear.” As the writer and holder of this vision I struggled with believing that the world would share interest in it. Yet, the voice within whispered louder and louder. Write this vision into existence. And so, I did. Perhaps time gave me a nudge and that was when I allowed myself the freedom to let it flow onto paper. That was when the world and wisdom opened up to me.
This is not a long book. It is to the point, full of deep feelings that I hope will touch your heart, while I paint you a picture with words of a place that is ready to be found.
A place that promises to be: “An eco-system without judgment and with clarity, where conflict and disagreement are softened with love. Where space will be held so gently that all will be able to hear their hearts and souls. Where those who come, learn to walk tenderly on mother earth and hold all of nature, including themselves, in a compassionate embrace. Where the horses are central and walk beside humanity.”
This book is my offering of a seat on the journey beside me Sit for a short while or perhaps, when you are finished reading it, you will feel pulled to connect and explore what synchronicities might unite us.
I have written this book. I share the vision. I have sketched the vignettes. I share thirteen realizations of inner wisdom that guide me on my way. And now I have let it go into the world to see what comes next. One of the most profound pieces of wisdom I have realized on this whole journey so far is: Trust it All, No Matter What!
